Anyone notice that almost every recipe website needs to write an overly effusive 5000 word essay on a simple recipe? Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll… recipe.
It’s Christmas time, we’re doing deviled eggs by the dozen. Doing the eggs in an Instant Pot is a quick and easy way to do them and the shells peel off without a hitch. No black rings around the yolk either.
Instant Pot – Dozen Hard Boiled Eggs
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- Put a steamer basket thing in the Instant Pot. Pour in a cup of water. Put the eggs in the basket, try not to stack to much. Set 8 min manual. Natural release.
- Most recommend into ice water immediately and then shell them. I usually forget for a couple hours and then do it. Still comes out fine.
