Cooking, Recipes & Eating Well

About

I like to experiment in the kitchen with new recipes or changing existing recipes.  I rarely follow a recipe to the letter and sometimes it comes out great, sometimes not so great.

I’ll be posting the better examples.

Our Home Kitchen:

We are slowly moving away from Teflon non-stick pans due to concerns about toxicity.  I was really fortunate to find a set of All-Clad LTD pots and pans at a local thrift store for $36.  They were barely used and should last a lifetime.  We also have an assortment of cast iron frying pans and a cast iron dutch oven.  Our KitchenAid mixer in regular use as well.  We have a 5 burner gas stove with an electric convection oven and an auxilary oven on the side.
